• The west gate, built higher than the cells, has a simple architecture and leads to the courtyard through a short hallway with a cradle vault.
• Further north, the shed, that is built on " mukarnas " headed four columns, is covered with a wooden roof resulting from the cradle vault perpendicularly cutting the half-transverse vault.
• An arched door gives access to the buildings and the donjon, reinforced by square towers in wedge-shapes, with access protected by machicolations ( providing coverage from three-floors ) and is topped by a cradle vault, sectioned into four branches by arched corbels.
